How's it going everyone!!! This week was so fun meeting everyone in my district! From the first class we all connected immediately and get along so well. Being in a district of 16 guys who all just graduated high schools feels like I'm really just back in high school hanging out with the boys. Being here for only 5 days so far just feels like I'm st FSY making a bunch of new friends! We love learning new portugeuse slang and our favorite one right now is muito bom. It literally just translates to very good and you do this snapping thing with your hand while your saying it! I also got made district leader on Thursday which really just adds a couple meetings per week for me and I have to lead a lot of the district council meetings, but other than that it's just really fun! Another one of our favorite things is to go play sand volleyball every morning at 7 am and we love challenging other districts cuz not to brag but we always beat them!
As well as me and my district having fun together we are also really good at learning during class and bringing the spirit. One of my favorite things is when we go outside during our evening class when the sun is going down and usually have about half and hour of personal study and then sharing together after that. I feel the spirit super strong everytime we do that!
Quick happy birthday shout out to my brother Brandon!! His birthday was on the 12th and it felt weird not be celebrating that with my family. Saying goodbye to them last Wednesday was definitely one of the hardest things I've done but I'm still super happy to be serving my mission! I'm enjoying my time a ton here at the MTC and I'm super excited to get to the field!
Send me an email and it will make my day!

Breakfast Sunday morning, the food here is ok. It's definitely not terrible but it's also not very good. My entire district playing sand volleyball. |
