This was a fun week! We got to help build a mailbox and a wheel chair ramp for some members this week. Pouring cement for the mailbox in the Texas heat got not so fun for a second, but after we finished they made us BBQ so it was worth it! It was super fun to build stuff thought because I havent gotten to do things like that for a while!  Last Friday I went on exchanges with Elder Rowell from Syracuse and it was a solid day of missionary work!! It was my first time leading out in this area and I had no idea what we were going to do so I was relying completely on the spirit and it worked perfectly! We were able to find 2 new married couples to teach! While we teaching one of them all about the Book of Mormon, their neighbor ran over their mailbox twice so that was fun to watch!  Ben is still doing great! He came to church for the 4th time yesterday! He also started his family tree stuff which he is super excited about! We also had 2 unbaptized young men come to us and say they ...

Bluebonnets

Image
This week was just genuinely a good week to be a missionary in Marble Falls, Texas! Plus, there is lots of bluebonnets and other wildflowers coming up everywhere so its super pretty! Also went to bluebonnet Cafe last p-day with Elder and Sister Stewart! It was so nice to see them again and the food was also pretty good.  This last week was full of amazing spiritual experiences. We had zone conference last Friday and we had to wake up an hour early because we live so far away! Zone conference was amazing as always though and i got to meet a lot of new missionaries that I have never met before! We got back to our area at 8:30 so we only had a half an hour to get some work done. So me and Elder Clark prayed what to do and we went to a gas station and ended up finding this really cool guy driving a 2010 Chevy Camaro!  We also had 2 amazing lessons with our friend Ben on Saturday and Sunday! We taught him more about the Book of Mormon and the restoration. We specifically tal...

Milagres em abundância

Hey everyone! This past week was so good because there were so many miracles! The first one was last p day when me and Elder Clark were able to move a massive couch into a second story apartment. I really dont quite know how we were able to do it so it was a miracle, even little things can be miracles!  Miracle #2 was that we got to go to the San Antonio Temple last Thursday! Having temples has got to be one of the best miracles ever! The San Antonio Temple is quickly becoming my favorite Temple. You definitely hear this from missionaries all the time but im going to say it again! Go to the temple!! I know for a fact you will feel the spirit there and also receive answers to questions you may have. I love the temple!  Miracle #3 was when I went on exchanges with Elder Larson on Friday! It was awesome because we just had a solid day of missionary work. We got a little bit of everything because we got all of our studies in, we got some service done helping someone move, g...

I love Texas ❤️

Blue Bonnets The beauty of Texas was unbelievable this last week!! Can I just say I'm so grateful for this beautiful Earth that God created for us! We saw a lake that was so big it looked like the ocean, a Texas lighting storm that made me feel like I was in the movie Twisters, and now there are blue bonnets and a bunch of other wildflowers popping up everywhere! Texas is awesome!  Me and Elder Richards Me and Elder Clark had some good missionary work this past week too! We honestly have been in a drought the past two weeks but we have still been working our tails off trying our best, and it finally paid of this week! A lot of our work in this area is working with members because over half the ward is inactive, but we were able to get 3 lessons set up with them! Also had a friend come to church who is looking super promising! His name is Ben and he already has a very strong testimony so pray for Ben!!  Highlights ️ - Found some "mountains." One of them was even big enough...

Chicken Fried

Image
I made a new friend! Sorry I'm writing this email in between playing basketball games so hopefully it makes sense  But what's up everyone, how are ya'll doing? I hope everyone had a good week cuz i sure did! If you couldn't tell from the title I had a lot of fried chicken this past week which was awesome. One time we were in a fried chicken restaurant and the song Chicken Fried by Zac brown band came on! What more could you ask for Service with my district On Saturday we drove out to a ranch way out in the countryside that got hit pretty hard during the floods here last summer. It was a big service project with most of our zone. I loved it because 1. It was on a ranch and 2. I love doing service because I love working hard and getting my hands dirty. I worked with the ranch owner a lot of the time too and got to be pretty good friends with him so at the end he took me back to see his horses which were really cool. I learned a lot from him too how to work hard in life an...

Elder Peters and Bevo (the mascot for the UT Longhorns)   Awesome pictures : https://photos.app.goo.gl/ XdnGgKSD4vJwVCGv8 What's up everyone!! Welcome to Marble Falls, Burnett, Kingsland, Spicewood, Llano, and many more places! So my new area is huge and covers a lot of towns! We literally could spend every day of the week in a different town! The first week in a new area is always so fun because there is so many new places and people to meet so it was a pretty crazy week.  The best part is I am definitely in the countryside of Texas now! Especially when we go out to Llano, Texas! I don't think I've seen this many cows, especially Longhorns, in my life! Also, since this is Texas and people like to do whatever they want, we were driving home from Llano on Wednesday and saw a bunch of Wildebeest  Some guy just wanted to own wildebeest so be bought a bunch of them and put them on his land! Some more crazy things we saw: a European castle in Texas, a 155 ft deep hole where th...
