Handyman 🛠

This was a fun week! We got to help build a mailbox and a wheel chair ramp for some members this week. Pouring cement for the mailbox in the Texas heat got not so fun for a second, but after we finished they made us BBQ so it was worth it! It was super fun to build stuff thought because I havent gotten to do things like that for a while!

Last Friday I went on exchanges with Elder Rowell from Syracuse and it was a solid day of missionary work!! It was my first time leading out in this area and I had no idea what we were going to do so I was relying completely on the spirit and it worked perfectly! We were able to find 2 new married couples to teach! While we teaching one of them all about the Book of Mormon, their neighbor ran over their mailbox twice so that was fun to watch!

Ben is still doing great! He came to church for the 4th time yesterday! He also started his family tree stuff which he is super excited about! We also had 2 unbaptized young men come to us and say they want to get baptized! So there are miracles happening here! We'll teach them first before they get baptized but still super exciting!!

Highlights✨
- Got some Texas BBQ twice last week
- Skipped some rocks on Lake Buchanan
- Met a really fat cat named Frederick and a really fat dog named Momo
- More bluebonnets and wildflowers
- Elder Clark threw up after eating too much at a member dinner

Spiritual thought✨
This week Ive got some spiritual wisdom from the great Nelson Mandela, this is a quote from him. "A saint is a sinner who keeps on trying!" I love this because we can still be a saint even when we make mistakes. The whole purpose of the atonement of Jesus Christ is to allow us to keep trying! There's also a really good talk about this from Dale G. Renlund in April 2015 General conference titled "Latter Day saints keep on trying." I would recommend listening too it! As well as General conference this weekend! I am so excited for it and I hope you all are too!

Go do something fun this week for me! Keep being amazing! I love ya'll!
