Milagres em abundância

Hey everyone! This past week was so good because there were so many miracles! The first one was last p day when me and Elder Clark were able to move a massive couch into a second story apartment. I really dont quite know how we were able to do it so it was a miracle, even little things can be miracles!

Miracle #2 was that we got to go to the San Antonio Temple last Thursday! Having temples has got to be one of the best miracles ever! The San Antonio Temple is quickly becoming my favorite Temple. You definitely hear this from missionaries all the time but im going to say it again! Go to the temple!! I know for a fact you will feel the spirit there and also receive answers to questions you may have. I love the temple!

Miracle #3 was when I went on exchanges with Elder Larson on Friday! It was awesome because we just had a solid day of missionary work. We got a little bit of everything because we got all of our studies in, we got some service done helping someone move, got some door knocking in, and also had 2 really good lessons! Those were some of the best lessons I've had in a while so it kinda boosted me a lot too!

Miracle #4 was Sunday! Our friend Ben came to church again and afterwards we had another really good lesson in one of the church classrooms! We talked all about the atonement, repentance, and the Book of Mormon! Ben is progressing so fast I love it! At the end of our lesson he basically bore his testimony to us and he has one of the most powerful testimonies ever!

Quick highlights✨
- we went golfing last p day
- got some really good gorditas from Abuelita
- bluebonnets and wildflowers are popping up everywhere
- fat boy burgers is a good restaurant
- found some deer antlers shed hunting

Spiritual thought✨️ this is gonna be longer
So this past was a big one for my family. My grandpa went to the ER on Thursday and passed away on Friday. Im so grateful for the time that I got to spend with my grandpa and the amazing example that he set for me! I wanted to share one of the last things that he wrote to me in an email.

"The world seems to be in so much confusion that I wonder how we will all stay true to the faith when problems arise in our own lives. I can only hope, pray, and have faith. If I don't, I am most likely to give into my natural man and do nothing. Just sit in a rocking chair and be old and die, but that isn't what my Father in heaven wants me to do. He has provided for me. I am to endure to the end, and I'm very sure that means more than 'hanging on.' It means to keep trying and working to become faithful."

My grandpa is the best example of charity and service that I know. He was always serving other people! I am so grateful and proud to have his same name, James Peters! I know I will see him again too because I know that the plan of salvation is true! I love all my family so much ❤️
