"Doing nothing often leads to the very best something" - Winnie the Pooh

Olà everyone! How has adjusting back into normal life gone? Hope its been pretty good for everyone. This might be a shorter email from me because really not that much happened this past week. I also forgot to write in my journal a lot, sorry mom😬

I think I forgot to say this last week but I got transfer news last Sunday and I am staying here in Hamilton Pool (West Austin) for 6 more weeks with Elder Christensen! I'm super excited for it because I love this area and feel like there's still a lot of good that I can get done here!

We had a youth ice cream social on Wednesday night with all the youth in the stake and it was really fun. We played a game called nuke em which I had never played before and its honestly just a weird version of volleyball. Jordan the young man we just baptized came and it was a good time with him there!

Other highlights:
- Torchys Tacos is pretty awesome
- also got some really good Texmex food from brother Ford
- built some Legos!! I got a giraffe 🦒

- played basketball and cover your assets with the Sweat fam. They're pretty awesome

Lowlights:
- 40° is now cold for me. Don't judge me people back home
- Elder Christsen was sick for a couple days

Spiritual thought:
Like I said Elder Christensen was not feeling super great a few times last week so we took things a little slower than normal. Because of that I had a lot of study time!! This goes back to my title that "doing nothing often leads to the best something!" I took advantage of the extra time I had to fully immerse myself in the scriptures and I got so much out of it!! Scriptures literally are such a gift for us and to he honest, my personal study is my favorite part of the day. Do your scripture study!! I love the book of mormon, it the the keystone of our church and the keystone of my testimony as well!

I pray for you all and love all of you!
